Выше выдержка из моего же поста. Если заменить Ж на Z(held), К оставить K(asatka), а С заменить на X(iomara). И сказать что мы теперь тусуем не цвета, а трех милых дам в очереди, то вывод напрашивается:А почему P делится именно R! Да потому что R! равно числу переустановок для R цветов, если оперировать всеми цветами сразу. Пример для R=2, т.е. пары цветов существует только два варианта "желтый и красный" и "красный и желтый", для R=3 уже шесть - ЖКС, ЖСК, КЖС, КСЖ, СКЖ, СЖК. И т.д.
6 вариантов очереди, который считается просто R! (или N!, если хотите), где R=3, и R!=3*2*1=6
Kasatka, ответ верен, но решение...
Жаль, комбинаторика, статистика, вероятность считаются задачами высокой сложности в GMAT, они попадаются когда бал по quantitative растет. С учетом того, что ваш quantitative skill все-таки лучше чем verbal skill то высокий результат по quantitative помог бы получить хороший total score. Короче, надо работать в этом направление в том числе. Ничего супер сложного нету там, надо просто понять принцип, ощутить его, так сказать, "душой и разумом". А дальше лишь практика
