U21: United 2 Fulham 2
Darren Fletcher made his first appearance of the season as Manchester United Under-21s rescued a point from a 2-2 draw with Fulham thanks to Michael Keane's unstoppable 87th-minute drive.
After the game, speaking with MUTV, Fletcher said:
“I enjoyed game, I have been ready for a few weeks and the plan was to get to 60-minutes tonight.
“The support throughout the club has been great, Sir Alex Ferguson mention at Old Trafford [against Swansea] was great and I have a great family around me, they pick me up when I’m down.
“I am desperate to get back into manager’s plans, Moyes has given me great support.
“I have to work doubly hard to then force my way back into the first team, I will focus on helping under-21s for now”
