Не давно узнал от старых знакомых, которым я помогал заполнять анкеты, они выигрывают ГК и не уезжают, не хотят.
2 года подряд им заполнял анкету,
первый выиграл с второго раза и не поехал, отказался,
второй выигрывал 2 года подряд и не поехал, отказался.
все просили в третий раз помочь им заполнить, теперь я отказался )).

Удивительная способность совковой прессы и их читателей перевирать новости. Смысл искажают полностью. Напряженка с пониманием английского, скорее всего...
Не "желающих переехать", а пытающихся выиграть Green Card. Сократилось число поданых анкет. И произошло это потому, что США исключили Бангладеш из списка участвующих стран, жители которого в прошлом году подали 7,6 миллиона заявок.

Весьма занятная статья. Не сильна в американской политической и нормотворческой системе, к сожалению. Да и со всем иммиграционным законодательством тоже... Получается, что в октябре с.г. сенатор Ш. заручился "поддержкой" по новому законопроекту, предполагающему введение платы за подачу заявки. Теперь ожидается, что нижняя палата должна этот законопроект одобрит.

Интересно, сколько времени это займет? И пойдет ли этот законопроект дальше...? И саму ГК пару раз пытались прикрыть, тоже какие-то сенаторы инициировали, а потом дело стопорилось.

Идея не лишена здравого смысла: не каждый выложит 30 долларов за лотерейный билет. А так бесплатно играть никто не возражает только потом выясняется, что ехать на самом деле никуда и не думали.

Неужели работать уборщиком в кафе у янков, гораздо привлекательнее работы программиста, переводчика, инженера, ассистента ген. директора, бухагалтера и т.д. в нашей стране???????

А участие в ГК очень сильно влияет на получение любых виз (учеба, стажировка и т.д.), т.е. лишает всякой возможности...

...кому-то просто повезло....

Информация к размышлению: Обращался в один из крупнейших интернет магазинов, интересовался вакансиями по доставке. Так вот у них очень большая потребность в програмистах порядка 80 позиций и не одной вакансии на более простую работу.
Другое дело что для того что бы попасть на должность инженера нужно пройти жесткий профотбор, поэтому если есть полулиповый диплом, нет опыта и способностей, то уборщиком...
Это конечно самое дно, таких людей очень мало и все попадают на такие позиции потому что нет желания шевелится и работать головой.
Иными словами то что ты эмигрант не значит что должен делать грязную работу, такую работу делают те кто больше ничего не умеет или не хочет.

По поводу ГК. Многократно визу получали родственники которые не один год до этого подавали на грин карту.

Теперь от себя. Можно конечно возмущаться, если не знать сколько наших соотечественников (казахстанцев в этом ряду к счастью не много) годами (иногда многими годами) сидят на выплатах государства, пользуются халявой и привыкают к этому. Разумеется если получаеш помощь на продукты, которая практически покрывает расходы на питание, если за тебя платят львинную долю аренды жилья и т.д. Разве захочется после этого работать? И инвалидов среди них я не видел не разу.
Ну так вот эти выплаты продолжаются, в то время как сокращаются зарплаты учителям и другим бюджетникам. Не маразм ли?

Если вы хороший специалист в КЗ то и в США быстро найдете работу по специальности, если у вас есть мозг то вы сообразите куда и кем пристроиться, а если вы были плохой спец, если у вас мало инициативы если вы медленно и тупо соображаете то мыть полы в макдональдсе эта ваша прямая обязанность.

ни черта вы, батенька, не понимаете !Ё нам, тут, сидя в КЗ, намного лучше видно что и как в сша ! - шутка, конечно ! сам уже неоднократно писал об этом. просто удивляет наивность нашего народа. правда, можно чуть-чуть поправить - хороших специалистов из КЗ - приглашают в штаты работать, это бывает довольно редко, но все же бывает.

Я тут прочитала, что на собеседование должны приехать все выезжающие, в том числе дети!! Это значит мне ребенка 4-х летнего, нужно тащить в Москву!?????
Я в шоке ! Даже не представляю, как это будет выглядеть. ребенок будет орать и ныть на все посольство.

Подскажите, правда ли это??
