Sales Head (Country Manager)
Job Description:
· Overall 10-15 years of experience in sales
· Sound knowledge across product lines and commercial solutions pertaining to client needs.
· Influence & pitch for addition of new brands to enhance company’s offering having value to the customers
· Must have ability to influence the clients' actions.
· Should be influential and collaborative in delivering results through matrix management not only from the sales teams but also from support functions like Finance, HR, Logistics etc
· Strong operational discipline, that translates into compliance in terms of sales process & statutory compliances.
· Responsible for Demand Generation & Conversion
· Drive team to ensure that revenues are as per the business plans.
· Monitors sales performance through MIS (tools for sales analysis) and provide guidance to sales team on a daily basis
· Identifies training and development needs for all sales employees;
· Does succession planning across hierarchies, uses career progression as a retention tool for high potential staff.
· Trains the team on the processes and policy
· Timely assessment of direct report’s performance, coaching and feedback
· Delegation of work authority and execution
· Execute, monitor country sales plans, improve existing sales processes, assess gap areas, drive numbers, generate leads, customer acquisition
· Performance appraisal, training & development of the sales team
· Motivate, coach and mentor sales team
· Design structure & build team to meet short term & long term business objectives
· Meeting all KRA’s / KPI’s
Essential Knowledge & Skill Requirement:
· At least 5+ years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role and demonstrated leadership skills.
· Excellent English (both oral and written)
· Excellent understanding of the IT Hardware business and has a proven track record of selling in Kazakhstan is essential.
· Preferably from a leading IT distribution organization.
· A good communicator with an ability to think critically and logically articulate recommendations – both verbally and through presentations and proposals.
· With strong Product Management, Key account management & analytical skills, and has the ability to understand and analyze data.
· Team player capable of excelling within matrix organization of a multinational corporation.
· High degree of personal integrity and a strong work ethic.
