SCIENCE MANAGER (Project Management), Almaty
Requirement: Veterinary (DVM) or Medical degree (MD) and PhD level degree in microbiology. 5-10 years experience in laboratory management. Advanced business degree preferred. Experience working at KZ ministry level preferred. Experience working with Kazakhstani public health and veterinary laws. Fluent verbal and written English and Russian. Kazakh language skills preferred. Thorough knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.


HUMAN SCIENCE COORDINATOR (Project Management), Almaty
Requirement: Medical or Veterinary or PhD level degree in sciences required. Knowledge of laboratory diagnostic assays including clinical microbiology, microscopy, Molecular diagnostic (PCR) assays, Serologic assays (ELISA and agglutination). Knowledge of human infectious disease epidemiology including enzoonotic and vector borne diseases. Fluent verbal and written English and Russian. Kazakh language skills preferred. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access, ability to learn new computer programs quickly. Minimum 4 years of experience working on public health related programs with International governmental or non- governmental agencies. Previous work experience with the current project preferred. Familiarity with the biological/diagnostic laboratory equipment required, laboratory experience preferred.

BIOSECURITY COORDINATOR (Project Management), Almaty
Requirement: Ability to understand and communicate in English. Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, ability to learn new computer programs quickly preferred. Bachelor level required. Minimum 6 years of experience working for US/Western European companies, preferably in the security/biosecurity field.
Familiarity with the bio laboratory and security equipment. Knowledge of Kazakhstani public health and veterinary laws and systems.
