а вот тут электродвигатели ремонт и продажа есть: www.elektromotor.kz Хорошо ребята делают ремонт электродвигателей, да и запчасти всякие продают для оных. Еще у них есть ремонт трансформаторов.

My Suggestion to the Problem of Placement on Spring 2006.

The only thing we can do is to make an official request to CIP. I think that they are moving to some new place in Astana, so fax will change. Anyway, I beleive that we need to (1) write on the email that is constant to Bolashak program (bolashak_info@yahoo.com). And we need to (2) send fax tomorrow on fax (number is+7(3172) 324336) to Accels and CIP (to accels we need to deliver only a copy of the original request). My fax that I will send tomorrow contains two letters a) official request of my employeer to move my placement date in US on Fall Semester 2006 because of contract requirements b) my own request with the same information.

Я тут письмецо получил ACCELS. Говорят нужно документы до 24 октября собрать. Беспредел. Мы же еще даже GRE не сдавали. Кто-нибудь знает чего об этом? Как можно перенести сдачу до Fall 2006? Если кому интересно вот все письмо:

Dear Bolashak finalists,

Congratulations on your selection to the Bolashak Presidential Scholarship
Program! We are pleased to have received your name in a list of finalists to
the program, and are looking forward to working with you during the upcoming
academic years. American Councils for International Education: ACTR/ACCELS is
working with the Center for International Programs (CIP) in Astana to assist in
the administration of the Bolashak Program in the U.S. Our headquarters are in
Washington, DC, and we also have offices in Almaty and Astana.

We are writing to you today because you have been designated by the Center for
International Programs (CIP) as a fellow to be placed in the Spring 2006
semester in an academic program. We are going to ask for some assistance from
you in submitting all the required documents to us as soon as possible, so that
we can process your applications with universities in time for a January start
date.

We kindly request the following:

1. If you have not completed your on-line application, please complete it as
soon as possible, and no later than Monday, October 24. Please note that there
is a place where you can indicate "completed application;" please make sure to
check this when you are done.

2. If you have not submitted the essay as part of the application, please do so
as soon as possible, and no later than Monday, October 24. This is critical
information that is required by all universities at all levels in order to
consider a student application.

3. In the on-line application instructions, you'll notice that we request some
additional documents, including a university transcript (and high school
transcript for undergraduate students), a certified translation of the
transcript, and three recommendation letters. In addition, we will need all
Official TOEFL, SAT or GRE score reports, if you have them. All of these
documents are also required for university placement; please submit the
originals plus a copy to our Almaty office by Friday, November 4. If your
score reports are with the Center for International Programs (CIP) in Astana,
they will be sending us the score reports independently, so you do not have to
worry about this.,, Please be sure to keep a photocopy of all documents for
your records.

In order to give you some more information about the timeline over the next few
weeks, here is what you may expect:

* During the next 3-4 weeks: collection of your program information;
communication with potential host universities about your placement.
* During the next 4-10 weeks: confirmation of academic placements. We will let
you know about your placement as soon as it is confirmed.
* During the next 4-6 weeks: DS 2019 forms to be sent to Almaty office;
interviews at U.S. embassy for U.S. entrance visas.
* During the next 6-10 weeks: International tickets will be sent to our Almaty
office and distributed to you for travel in January. Please do not purchase
your own international tickets.
* Throughout the month of January: Travel to the U.S. to attend orientation and
begin academic coursework.

If there are any urgent questions, please let us know. Otherwise, we look
forward to receiving your final application materials and working to place you
in an academic program in the U.S.
