Что такое VIN? Это Vehicle identification number, проще говоря - номер кузова автомобиля.
Где его искать? Вот места его наиболее вероятного расположения:

Вводная часть.
1. Узнать историю авто по VIN коду можно только в том случае, если авто было в США или Канаде.
2. VIN код должен содержать строго 17 (семнадцать) символов.
3. В VIN не может быть букв I, O и Q (Ай, Оу и Кью) .
4. В VIN не должны попадать буквы кириллицы (например, А, С, Т, М и т.д.).
5. и только платные.
6. Перед тем, как задать вопрос об истории сомнительного авто, зайдите СЮДА и СЮДА и произведите поиск по VIN. Если Ваш автомобиль здесь есть - он был продан через страховой аукцион!
7. Бесплатный поиск американских утопленников: База данных по Флориде.
9. Имейте в виду, что историей изучаемого Вами автомобиля, возможно, кто-то уже интересовался. Поэтому ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО пройдитесь поиском по форуму и воспользуйтесь помощью поисковых систем Yandex, Rambler, Yahoo, MSN, Google. Обязательно просматривайте кэшированные странички. Иногда это дает очень интересные результаты (причем, бесплатно).

Нет не так, просто из штатов машину можно проверить, а из ОАЭ и Европу нет, а там может быть даже и больше хлама, особенно с ОАЭ
