Requirements:
? Ability to engage and build relationship with university computer science students and faculty
? Ability to deliver academically oriented .NET content on university campuses and academic events to both small and large audiences
? Ability to market MSDN AA to ensure awareness and participation of universities; improve Microsoft's image via branding and messaging
? Participate in academic developer online student and faculty community.
? Unabated passion for technology and Microsoft, a keen eye for unobvious opportunities, unparalleled communication and negotiation skills
? Flexibility in regards to work schedule and travel
? 4 year degree in CS, Eng., IS or related discipline; Familiarity with CS/CE/IS curriculums, solid knowledge of sw dev tools prog models
? Specific knowledge of Java, academic languages or Linux; working knowledge of database (SQL), data access, .NET Framework and CLR
? Current programming skills a strong advantage, academic teaching or research background, or previous evangelism experiences preferred
? Delivers articulate, effective, and audience-appropriate presentations/demonstrations
? Conveys a compelling and convincing case for Microsoft technologies vs the competition

Responsibilities:
? Driving Broad Customer Connection across the Developer, Architect and IT Pro audiences through an integrated approach to evangelism, communities and intelligent audience marketing
? Marketing of the broad Microsoft platform and developer tools
? Engaging ISVs through depth and breadth technical evangelism activities and providing strategic leadership on ISVs across the subsidiary/district
? Driving highly visible design wins in enterprise accounts that lead to compelling evidence and customer references; this includes scaling design wins on the Microsoft platform enabling services partners to architect and win business-critical applications based on the Microsoft platform
? Selling developer tools to enterprise accounts, partners and through the channel
? Engaging students and faculty in universities and high schools in order to win mindshare of nascent developers
