Defensive issues for van Gaal
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed he has issues in defence ahead of Crystal Palace's visit on Saturday.
Although Marcos Rojo does not require surgery on the shoulder problem that forced him off in the Manchester derby last weekend, he obviously misses the clash against Neil Warnock's side with Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans and Phil Jones also on the sidelines.
"Marcos dislocated his shoulder but did it in a positive way," explained the boss. "We don't need to operate on him. It's a relief but maybe, with this injury, it is very difficult to prevent it from happening again. That is the problem.
"He saw a specialist yesterday evening who said the conservative way to heal it is best. For him, it was positive. Always with these injuries, I cannot change that. The human body has been made by God - not by me. Conservatively, it can be less than six weeks. If we have to operate, 12 weeks."
The absentees ensure there will be more changes to the manager's XI with Michael Carrick, Paddy McNair, Tyler Blackett and Tom Thorpe among the contenders to play at the heart of the back four.
"When I want to select the same line-up, I cannot," added van Gaal. "It's the same every week. It is like it is and I don't want to complain or cry because I have great belief in the players, myself and my staff. Also the supporters who are supporting us despite the results.

Как раз контракт на 3 года. Если он на 3 год возьмет ЛЧ, думаю никто не расстроится, да же?
лично я - нет) кубка ЛЧ явно мало для такого клуба как МЮ... еще КА бы выиграть, давненько мы не брали этот трофей))
похоже сегодня Уилсон в старте выйдет! как же хочется разгрома, оченама мало забиваем

The granddaddy of English football will return to Wembley next Saturday to present a 100th cap to the whippersnapper he fully expects to displace him shortly as the all-time leading goal-scorer for this country.
Even though his cherished landmark is so close to being passed, Sir Bobby Charlton is only too pleased to be doing the honours for Wayne Rooney on that hallowed turf before England kick off their European Championship qualifier against Slovenia.

One of Manchester United's many global partners Nissin have created an animation featuring Wayne Rooney, Angel di Maria and Robin van Persie.
The Japanese food company became United's 29th official sponsor in June and has unveiled it's new marketing campaign 'Hungry to Win' which it is hoped will reflect Manchester United's vision to be the best both on and off the pitch.
