Не хочу, чтоб возвращались к тому, с чего начинали... просто думается надо идти еще дальше чем CLOTM...

Песни Neither of us can c, Admiration - мало от Incubus, но, имхо, песни офигительные. Make a Move - Настоящий старый добрый Inc, имхо, песня не из лучших.

Ну шож так сурово то! Может просто они уже другой трэк из сборника играет! Не слушать же постоянно incubus - вот например из моей машины можешь улышать как нибудь!

A year ago, Incubus sat backstage at Britain's Leeds Festival and said they were taking their first real career break.

Apparently it was a short one, as the group plan to drop their new album, 'Light Grenades,' on Nov. 28.

Guitarist Mike Einzinger begs to differ. "This has been by far the longest amount of time that we've spent at home in the last 10 years," he says. "By the time our record comes out, it will have been over two years since we were really out working. It's been really rejuvenating, because at the end of our tour for our last record ('A Crow Left of the Murder'), I think all of us were just really burnt."

Einzinger says the band used their time off to settle into Southern California life, but found themselves inspired last fall after he composed the cut 'Oil and Water.'

"It was really difficult at first to convey the idea [of that track] to everybody in my band, because it was very simple," Einzinger recounts. "Brandon latched on to it and as soon as everybody kind of clicked, it was the first time we became really energized to write new music."

While Einzinger says the Brendan O'Brien-produced 'Light Grenades' will be "all over the place," it represents a new phase of lyrical composition for brown-eyed frontman Brandon Boyd.

"Brandon is throwing himself out there a lot more," Einzinger says. "He's always written a lot about relationships, but this record is very, very personal for him."

The boys plan to get more personal with their audiences next, stepping off the stadium circuit for their first tour back, tentatively set for next year. "We were toying with the idea of doing some type of theater tour," he says. "The whole idea of it for us is to just make it very special again."

Incubus Makes Up For Lost Time On New Album


Incubus dabbles in a variety of styles on its first album in two years, "Light Grenades," due Nov. 28 via Epic. The 13-track set will be led by the riffy first single "Anna Molly," which describes a woman who may or may not exist in real life. The track will hit U.S. radio outlets in October.

Several tracks stay true to the band's more hard rock-oriented side, particularly the gnarly lead riff and pounding, punkish pace of the two-minute title track, the overdriven chorus of "A Kiss To Send Us Off" and the punchy "Rogues," which approximates a bizarre cross between latter-day Red Hot Chili Peppers and Ted Leo.

Beyond the hazy, effects-drenched opener "Quicksand," the band conjures "Led Zeppelin III"-esque acoustic riffs on "Paper Shoes," spaces out on the atmospheric "Dig," burrows into a simple midtempo ballad on "Love Hurts" and jams out with abandon during the outtro of "Pendulous Threads."

"Light Grenades" also includes the two-part "Earth to Bella," one version of which divides the track list in half, the other of which closes the album.

Incubus has yet to announce tour plans in support of the project, but will perform Sept. 30 at Edgefest in Tempe, Ariz., alongside Rise Against, Jack's Mannequin, 30 Seconds To Mars and She Wants Revenge.

Ну что ты, Ascare, зачем мне заставлять тебя переводить себя!

Я про свои инкьюбусоинформационнонесущие посты!

Я могу как нибудь найти время, но вот Ascare уже знает как скоро оно обычно у меня находится!
Но если у кого есть желание сделать это раньше - мне кажется это было бы полезным.

Что касается Quicksand - наверное это такой же энергетически наполненный эфектами первый трэк как и на всех альбомах.
И вообще у них, как они сообщали, будет довольно hard-rock'овый альбом. Так что все что в описание не подходит под ballads наверное будет потяжелее.

Очень жду! Прям горю от нетерпения!

Ребята вы где все?

Был в Нью Йорке, посетил концерт. Нет не Incubus, у них щяс дело близко к релизу, наверное отдыхают перед будущим турне в поддержку альбома.
Я посетил концерт Roger Waters at Madison square garden, который состоялся 13 сентября и длился около трех часов. Я просто в трансе. Roger сыграл все хиты Pink Floyd (кстати он являлся одним из главных в легенде рока Pink Floyd). Это было что-то. Звук был просто поразительным ихотя я сидел не на очень хорошем месте - было видно, а еще как слышно абсолютно всем. Я бы сказал он должный последователь старых традиций Pink Floyd, чего я не скажу о Dave Gilmour. Я буквально плакал услышав самые сильные хиты Пинков...
Напоследок (все же не буду грузить вас бредом ярого фаната) даю Set list концерта:

Жмите - не пожалеете! Очень своеобразно. Честно говоря не ожидал услышать что то подобное, сначала такие же ощущения как от прослушивания A Crow left of the Murder в первый раз, потом после раза 10-20 беспрерывного прослушивания прислушиваешься и находишь что то родное. В сумме мне нравится.
Чувствуется небольшое отличие от предыдущих работ, что свойственно группе как таковой. Молодцы, что не стоят на месте. Разве что Брэндон поменял имидж.... не в лучшую сторону...

Между прочим, русскоязычный сайт об INCUBUS уже полгода как висит в сети, только о нем никто не знает, потому что я еще его не доделала Если у кого есть в Москве знакомый веб-программер - свистите, дело пойдет быстрее.
