Responsibilities:
- Supporting the invitation process around an event and follow up activities;
- Supporting telemarketing process;
- Updating an event database;
- Coordinating participant registration;
- Assisting with logistics for IDC events as required;
- Managing all office administration tasks;
- Operating the telephone switchboard– taking messages, welcoming visitors, dealing with messengers, setting up conference calls etc.;
- Ordering office supplies;
- Travel arrangements as necessary;
- Managing calendars, organizing meetings;
- Assisting the external Accounting Department (preparation of reports, documents, accounting tasks);
- Other duties as required.
We require:
- College/university degree;
- Experience working in an office environment;
- Ability to work independently and in a team;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Ability to deal with tight deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Good written and spoken English;
- Knowledge of MS Excel is required, knowledge of Lotus Notes and MS Power Point is highly desired;
- Understanding of business etiquette.
