hi all
the problem is:
i am currently designing a system for a bank
just starting

there is a table "Accounts" with two attributes Account_number and Account_type
possible Account types are savings account, Credit account and Current account.
I also have got a table Current_account_details which will capture info about Overdraft_limit. this is applicable only for Current Accounts,
so what i want is only current account numbers to be placed in Current_account_details table

what i am going to do is make Account_number+Account_type as a composite/compound key, so that only accounts which are CURRENT to relate with Current_account_details table.

now what next? should i have the same two attributes in that Current_account_details table or just one attribute (Account_number) as a primary key is enough??? I guess having just Account_number will be ok, but not sure
