btw, i'm used to hear american english every day, so when i hear the english english, it sounds totally broad 4 me, but it's obviously not broad.

I love yankee english...so simple, not so many rules and restrictions, and english english's getting more and more difficult for me. :rotate:

I think english english is easier for me and sounds better anyway. Maybe it`s because I don`t like americans. They all are fat and not so smart as our guys, and every second of them doesn`t know about Kazakhstan.

I also prefer British accent vis-a-vis American one. I think that wherever you are people will understand your British english without problem.

Oh, come on! Even in London you can meet a lot of different accents, leave alone other regions of Great Britain.

As for stupid Americans, probably, I'm lucky one because I'm surrounded by smart, intelligent and polite Americans, very intersted in Kazakhstani life, people and customs, and proud of their living and working in Kazakhstan, so, I don't mind to adopt their language.

Amazing! Have you really met all Americans and asked every second (?every other? one would be better expression, bty) of them about KZ?

Personally I like English regardless of it?s accent. British English (or I like to call it Quinn?s English) is so classy and sophisticated ? language of Shakespeare and James Bond. American English is a language of business and money. I also don?t mind Jamaican English ? laid back and relaxed? The list goes on and on. I just like English?

minging (widely used on the Northern part of Britain) - a very ugly girl
"Fit like" - typical phrase to great each other in Aberdeen neighbourhood.
Hose iz your doze (speelin' might be wrong) - Literally could be paraphrazed as "How are ur piggeons?". Most probable response would be "Eye pickin' " which means "yeah, they still pickin' seeds up."

Lads, your other Scottish phrases and words are more than welcummed. )))

I like both British and American accents. It's hard to say which one I prefer. As for the language itself, I think American English is more functional, but British English is very ?aristocratic? and beautiful.

Does it actually mean that another half of people you met do know about KZ? For a half-year period of living in Canada i've met very few guys who really know where that country is.

Hehe it's the way esier to speak, but not for responce!

it's not very strict, and... yeah, agreed, it's mainly easy to speak
you can say whatever you want
for example, so many times heard from native english-speakers: "he/she don't know"

probably, I'm lucky one because I'm surrounded by smart, intelligent and polite Americans, very intersted in Kazakhstani life, people and customs

then you are lucky one

ну вон в начале страницы например

персонаж "с начала страницы" :D :
отвечаю на вопрос - разговариваем ведь мы по-разному. Можно и "Whazzup, bro", а можно и "с точки зрения банальной эрудиции", по обстановке. А печатаю соотвественно тексту, дабы передать оттенок, то же "ya" вместо "you" например

А насчет модно - не знаю
Вот сокращать в инете однозначно привычно
