Tasks and Responsibilities
· Setup and management of IT operations (including end-of-period processing, data backups and archiving, D/R procedures, etc.) according to ITIL standard
· Delivery of IT infrastructure services, e.g.
o Administration and maintenance of base infrastructure (cabling system, LAN, WAN, international voice- and data-communication, telephone infrastructure)
o Administration and maintenance of banking system hardware and operating systems (i-Series, blade centers, SAN and periphericals)
o Administration and maintenance of additional server environments (application servers, database servers, etc.)
o Administration and maintenance of office automation environment (Lotus Notes, MS Office, Citrix terminal servers, etc.)
o Administration and maintenance of data centers and server rooms (including backup centre)
o Administration and maintenance of IT security components (firewalls, malware protection, etc.)
o Planning and implementation of base head quarters and branch infrastructure (communications, infrastructure, user devices)
o Implementation and maintenance of IT Service Management according to ITIL including reporting based on operational KPIs

Job dimensionsThis position will initially cover the bank startup phase and be project-driven.
After completion of the bank startup the specialist position may turn into a management position to build the IT operations organization of the bank.
Job Specifications· Profound IT education and minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position, ideally in the finance industry
· Good knowledge and experience with the following or similar infrastructure components:
o IBM i-Series (AS/400) and OS/400
o Blade centers (HP or IBM) and LINUX
o Storage area networks and backup systems
o Structured cabling and LAN, WAN components (preferably CISCO)
o IT security components (firewalls (NOKIA), malware protection solutions)
o Backup and archiving solutions
o Office automation products (Lotus Notes, MS Office)
o Operating systems (OS/400, MS Windows, Linux)
o Database administration (Oracle)
· Familiar with IT Service Management and ITIL standard (ITIL certification preferred, but not a must)
· Good managerial and organizational skills
· Excellent team player and good communication skills
· Good command of English
