Stage 1 upgrade: (10 BHP) HKS exhaust system (3 options)
?Drager 2? exhaust 75mm pipework with 120mm tailpipe also removes 2nd catalyst on UK models. Certified to strict Japanese 'JASMA' noise levels with the (supplied) baffle insert fitted. With the baffle removed, the exhaust sounds becomes 'deeper' and more aggressive, although still remaining very acceptable for general use. $ 1 188
?Hiper Muffler? exhaust system. A slightly more 'aggressive' exhaust than the Super Drager, the Hiper is designed to 'kick out' at an angle and like the Drager also removes the 2nd cat. on UK models. Not 'JASMA' certified and thus will be louder than the Drager. Picture in left column also shows the 'insert' which can be fitted to bring down noise levels for example track days. $ 981
'Ti-Hiper' exhaust system. This system is very similar to the Hiper Muffler above, but has the addition of a titanium sleeve mounted to the tailpipe. Due to the properties of this material, the tailpipe will alter it's colour depending on heat soak, giving a unique rainbow-like effect at normal running temperature. Sounds a bit odd but actually looks fantastic! $ 1 144
Stage 2 upgrade: (25bhp) HKS 'Super Header' exhaust manifold/crossover pipes. Crafted in full stainless and robotically welded this product verges on a work of art! Will give quicker spool-up and enhanced flow characteristics all through the rev range. An excellent way of increasing power and driveabilty without resorting to boost increases, and gives good gains for those vehicles that do. A good all-round upgrade. $ 1 777.
Stage 3 upgrade: (30bhp) HKS induction system
This induction is the first of it's kind available for the MY01 Impreza due to technical difficulties in separating the airflow meter electronics from the original airbox setup. As with all HKS equipment they have now carried out full testing on this kit before release. $ 338

Picture below is a GDB fitted with HKS SQV dump valve, HKS Super Drager, HKS induction kit, HKS F-Con S ECU, HKS EVC-5 boost controller, HKS Turbo timer, and HKS SuperFire spark plugs.
