The Delegation of the European Commission in Kazakhstan invites applications from qualified candidates for the following positions :

Finance officer: Main responsibilities include (a) checking financial and contractual aspects of advanced, interim and final invoices for projects in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz tan and Tajikistan (b) ensuring compliance with relevant Regulations and instructions © preparing payment orders, recovery orders and interest payments using the Commission information system (d) drafting clear, concise letters in English to external Contractors (e) liaising with Headquarters in Brussels regarding financial checks. A university degree is required with not less than two years financial experience in a multinational organization.

Administrative assistant: Undertaking various administrative, financial and legal duties, including real estate management. A law degree with not less than two years experience in a multinational organization would be an asset.

Project manager: Daily monitoring and management of the project related activities, assisting in project development, maintaining contacts with all national authorities, and keeping official correspondence.

Secretary: Undertaking various duties as assistant to the head of an operational section, including management of visa and registration procedures, arrangement of meetings and occasional translation (Russian-English)

The working language is English. Knowledge of another European Union language and/or Kazakh, Kyrgyz or Tajik would be considered as an asset. Flexibility and an ability to work under pressure and to respond quickly to new demands is required, along with commitment and team spirit.

The working language is English. Knowledge of another European Union language and/or Kazakh, Kyrgyz or Tajik would be considered as an asset. Flexibility and an ability to work under pressure and to respond quickly to new demands is required, along with commitment and team spirit.
